Buying our first home was an experience my husband and I wanted to enjoy and have fundoing in the process. We began using a Realtor, who sahll remain unnamed, that was making the process anything but enjoyable and fun. We were having to get online and look for houses through random search engines, When we would find a house that we were interested in looking at we would call this unnamed Realtor so that he could make arrangements for us to go and look at the homes. We soon realized that this Realtor was not answering or returning our phone calls. The experience was becoming a nightmare.
We had some friends that had recently used Mr. Rollins as a Realtor, and after hearing about our nightmare they called Mr. Rollins without us knowing. He immediately contacted us and we had a meeting set up with him. When we went to meet with him, we explained what we were looking for, what areas we liked, and what we were willing to spend. Right then and there he pulled up a list of homes that were on the market that matched what we had described to him. He took the time and went through the list and pictures of the homes with us. From that day forward our search really began.
Being first time buyers he helped point out things in homes that we wouldn't know to look for. He was very honest and told us when homes were overpriced, needed a lot of work, or had any problems. I loved how he would let us walk around the home and let us form our own opinions about the place instead of trying to influence our decision and rush the process. He often opened our eyes to things that we did not see. He was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor...which we loved about him! My husband and I were finally enjoying our experience and having a great time in the process.
When we finally found our "dream home" he was the one to help make our dream come true. He walked us through the process of making reasonable bids on the home. After 4 bids on the house, it was finally accepted. We did not have to worry about anything in the process. Mr. Rollins had everything under control and made the process a breeze.
We have Mr. Rollins to thank for making our dream a reality, our experience enjoyable and fun, and giving us great advice and guidance in purchasing our first home. He was an answered prayer. We signed a contract on a home that was listed by the Rollins Home Team in March 2008. Our problem was that we had a home to sell and a short time frame in which to do so. Due to the seamless process we had experienced, we selected the Rollins Home Team to be our agent to assist in the sale of our home (even though we had a freind that was in real estate).
